Pace will be genuine with Flying Ace pressing forward to challenge Ilovenews kicking up on the inside. FLYING ACE (2) stuck on soundly into a midfield finish when resuming last time at Balaklava. Is sure to have come on from that and steps out to a winning trip second up from a lovely draw. Can give this a big shake. MAGIC ISLAND (8) returns and makes her stable debut for the R & C Jolly camp after a move from QLD. Has enough early toe to offset the wide draw and strips fitter for a solid trial hitout. Can make her presence felt. ZENACITY (10) was much better last start at Strathalbyn when closing strongly to only miss the winner. Draws the carpark this time so expect her to be a long way off them when straightening but if the pace is genuine she can cause a fright late. OVER THE EDGE (4) doesn't win out of turn but has efforts littered through his form that can measure up for a race of this calibre. Not dismissing completely. SUGGESTED PLAY: Slight lean to Flying Ace. Saving on Magic Island.
