A solid tempo is anticipated with Hereward and Claim The Crown kicking up to hold out the next wave. HEREWARD (5) led until the dying stages of a similar race here two starts ago. Tackled a Midway over the Randwick mile subsequently and failed to perform. Should enjoy a nice run up on the pace and he can bounce back to form in this more suitable contest. JOHN DORY (6) had been racing well until last time out at Rosehill when a step back in trip in Saturday company wasn't an ideal set-up.
