Keen speed battle, with Mr Desira and Effortless Win prominent. TYCOON RESOURCES (2) couldn't have been more impressive to begin his career, though he now has to repeat the dose at Sha Tin. He should get every chance from a good draw though and his SP's suggest he's better than this class. Can continue to fly through the grades. EFFORTLESS WIN (3) jumped the $2.90 favourite last start but bumped into one better at this track and trip, though he lost no admirers in defeat. The inside barrier again today should see him get a lovely run throughout and the winkers go on now. Can get back to winning ways. SZERYNG (5) returned from a break with a solid performance at Happy Valley, though this track and trip is where he did his best work before he bled. He'll need some luck from the wide alley, but with the fresh run under his belt, he can get back to his best. INVINCIBLE STEED (8) was solid in his HK debut and out to 1200m now looks perfect. Still has plenty of upside and can make his presence felt.
