Strong early tempo with Sabu Ryu Shin and Destiny Hope leading the way. DESTINY HOPE (9) raced on the speed and lifted to score by half a length at today's track and distance last start in a much improved run. The engagement of Soichi Kato is noteworthy. Stepping up a level this time but on her best form she is capable of testing her rivals. SOL AMAZON (4) has been safely held at his last two starts, the latest when eighth over 3170m at Kyoto. Does enjoy some weight relief this time. Has struggled on the JRA circuit recently but is better placed here. POSITIVITY (12) is racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid third at this track over 1500m. Wide draw and will need a good steer from Seigo Tsukamoto. Meeting a deeper field this time but he cannot be left out. CULLBERG (1) last raced on June 16 when fourth at this track over 1500m. Meeting a tougher field but on his best form he is good enough to take this out.
