Without a great deal of early pace evident Moonan Quartz may lead the way over Gagnante Enchere. DAMEHOOD (1) was well in the betting at Doomben last time out and didn't let supporters down with a solid victory over this distance range. Will be at peak fitness now fourth run back and gets some weight relief with the 2kg claim. Should be right there at the business end. MOONAN QUARTZ (4) has a win and a placing from three attempts over this trip and will be high on confidence following that first-up win. Gets in well at the weights with the claim and can go back-to-back to start the campaign. Former Sydney galloper DIAMOND SHOW (5) just missed the frame when having her first run for the new stable and will have taken great benefit from that hit-out. Top-three candidate. ZOUSLAYER (9) disappointed last time but go on the solid win at the Sunny Coast two back. Can bounce back. GAGNANTE ENCHERE (10) best of the rest from the inside marble.
