Keen battle for the lead with Corro, Prestige Forever and Cat Noir in advance of Red On Red and Shahzad. Track pattern will be key for DARK SIMBA (3) but if they can make ground over this trip he'll go close. He's always promised good ability and really came away from his rivals late at Bendigo over this trip to score by a dominant 2.75 lengths. Radley claims 2kg and with even luck he'll be too strong late. NEARING LIBERTY (5) made nice improvement second up at Caulfield Heath when charging home into a narrow fourth. He can be positive from out wide with the 3kg claim and take beating. BLUE WILLOW (16) got home well into third at Sandown Hillside last time out behind an in-form horse and gets in with just 51kg after the very handy claim for Johnstone. She'll be very hard to hold out. FUNCHAL (1) resumes for a new yard. Her Perth form says she'll measure up but watch the market. PRESTIGE FOREVER (4) next best. SUGGESTED PLAY: Dark Simba to win.
