Genuine tempo with Yellow Cab leading the way. COSMO TAISHI (4) is putting together some solid results. Finished third at this track two starts back then got the job done by a neck last time out over 1400m here. Meeting a tougher field but on current form he is one of the chief contenders. DURANT VERITE (10) improved sharply on his ninth two starts back at this venue with success over 1400m at this circuit two-and-a-half weeks ago, getting home by 2.5 lengths after being in the firing line on the bend. Must raise the bar but he has the talent to test this line-up. YELLOW CAB (6) went fast early and went on to score by one length last time out over 1400m at this course. Going up a level this time but he has the ability to mix it with them. PPALLIPPALLI (12) did a great job to score by 0.8 lengths over today's course and distance last start in a much improved run. Another big run will not surprise.
