Looks a keen contest with Mountain Top and Oceans One pressing for the lead with Huon and Be Quiet close at hand. Consistent mare DEAR JEWEL (9) backs up seven days after finishing on the placegetters' heels over 1100m at Warwick Farm. Deep into her prep but continues to race well. This isn't the strongest field she has faced so expect her to be in the picture again. SMILING PROPHET (11) got going when the race was all over at Newcastle most recently. Very fit after three runs back from a break. Draws the fence and is at her best over this distance so plenty to like. Recent Wyong trial winner BE QUIET (5) has won two from four at 1000m so she cannot be ruled out first-up from a 137-day lay-off. A trial win at Wyong recently suggests she is ready to go. HUON (1) is back after a five-month spell. Yet to miss the placings in five runs at the Kenso and his first-up record is an outstanding four wins from five. Sure to give a good account. MASSIRA (6) has been disappointing this time in work but deserves one more chance with a drop in grade. SUGGESTED PLAY: Dear Jewel can get away with this.
