Shiny New Deel has good early speed and can set a decent tempo. Tough finish. TAKA SPEED (1) is racing consistently and comes back in grade. The fourth placing last time at Caulfield behind First Chorus who has won in better company again since reads nicely for this. Up in the weights here but he gets a good run and can break through. TISHMAN (7) resumed a winner at Sale and did it nicely there. He's a consistent sort who looks to have come back better than ever and can go on with the job. MY ROCA FELLA (4) is off a let-up here having run a sound race at Mornington in better company when last seen. The two wins prior were good and he should give a sight. ALLEGRO MISS (6) comes down from Sydney in solid form, not a yard we see much of in Melbourne but respecting the placement. RED ON RED (3) won an easier race last time but is racing well and in the mix. SUGGESTED PLAY: Taka Speed on top.
