A solid tempo on the cards with Road To The City leading the way. NAVY ROK (4) savaged the line in his first two runs of the prep and then just missed last start when well backed at Murray Bridge. Showed good tactical speed last time, so should hold a good spot from the soft draw. At his top now and is clearly the one to beat. EXTRA CHILL (7) was too bad to be true when resuming off a long break at Balaklava. The rise in trip suits and the blinkers go on. Can improve sharply. BAY ROAD BOY (3) has only been warming late in his first two starts. Suspect Holder is more proactive on him this time from the low draw, and the rise in trip on the short turnaround is another positive. WINSTON'S PRIDE (6) has been better in his last two but does need to go up another rung if he wants to turn the tables on Navy Rok after being beaten more than 3L by him at the latest. Will need to be ahead when they sprint. SUGGESTED PLAY: Navy Rok to win.
