Conchiero and Forecaster possess good early speed and will set a genuine tempo. CHAMPAGNE HERO (4) put the writing on the wall last start when he lengthened nicely but just missed out over 1600m at Warwick Farm. Drawn to enjoy the perfect run in transit and should be cherry ripe now at the third run back. Plenty to like about his prospects. CONCHIERO (1) opened this prep with a couple of nice placings in this grade then showed pace but struggled over the final stages of a BM78 over the Randwick mile last time. Blinkers back on for the fourth run back in more suitable company. Expecting a peak performance. The lightly raced ROMA GREEN (9) looked home last start over 1400m at Newcastle but was overhauled close to home. Continues to improve and there is stoutness on the dam side so this trip should hold no fears. INTERJECTION (2) ran a better race last start, winding up powerfully to grab third over 1400m at the Farm. This looks a nice progression. FORECASTER (5) probably leads and his recent efforts against in-form runners in Midways has been commendable. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Champagne Hero and Conchiero.
