GIMME A FIREBALL (3) finished third on debut ten weeks ago, beaten 2.25 lengths over 1000m at this track, and has not been produced since. Will be better for that race experience and expected to go well again. SCOTCH AGAIN (1) faced the starter for the first time and was well supported but could only manage fifth last start at Greyville over 1200m, beaten 7 lengths. Likely improver and worth following up. CUE STICK (2) is facing the starter for the first time. By Querari and hails from the Gareth Van Zyl stable. Expect a bold run. CANNON BOLT (4) is returning from a spell of three-and-a-half months. Finished ninth at Kenilworth over 1200m at the first run last prep. Now with a new trainer Dean Kannemeyer.
