Cracking tempo with Star Martini and Bubbles In Rio leading the way. PROPERATA (7) resumes today taking on the older horses. His recent trial was super and this looks to set up favourably in a winnable race based off his debut campaign. He showed enough class there to suggest he's no slouch and he can make a statement on his return. VIENNA CALLING (4) showed some talent in her first campaign, tackling open 3YO grade before being good in defeat at Northam before the break. Her latest trial suggests she's ready to fire on resumption and Brad Parnham sticks with her from that heat. Can land the knockout blow. BUBBLES IN RIO (3) is a long-time maiden who continues to knock on the door. She just felt the pinch late last start at Bunbury when crossing form out wide on a soggy deck. These conditions should suit her better and she'll give a bold sight again from the front. EYE OF THE FLY (1) bolted in at the trials with the blinkers on and they stay on for his return. Creates interest. STAR MARTINI (8) has claims off a couple of handy trials. SUGGESTED PLAY: Properata can return with a bang.
