Just a moderate tempo headed by Cuesta, Pierata's Gem and Deep Pleasure.
DEEP PLEASURE (2) ran her best race for a while when she travelled on the speed last start over the mile at Warwick Farm then battled on gamely to be beaten half a length. Should enjoy a soft run on the pace from a good draw. Excellent chance to score an overdue win. CUESTA (6) struck form at the third run back from a spell last time out, getting home well to score with a bit in hand over 1300m at Kembla. Placed at both tries at or around this distance. Steps up to metro level but looks up to the task. CONCORDIA WIND (1) scored impressively two back over 1600m at midweek level then struggled at Randwick against better opposition last time. Can bounce back in this more suitable contest. PIERATA'S GEM (4) wasn't beaten all that far when fresh from a spell over 1400m at Randwick recently. Finds an easier race today and is right in contention. MISS KIM KAR (3) showed signs of a return to form last start and is nicely placed back in this grade. SUGGESTED PLAY: Deep Pleasure to win.
