Good early pressure anticipated with a large contingent of unraced runners. MARCOS (1) tackled some strong 2YO races in his debut campaign and wasn't disgraced, ending up 2.3L off Beatty in the Perth Stakes. His latest 400m trial was fair, but the booking of CJP is a big push for his chances. Wouldn't surprise to see him round them up from the second half of the field. PUCKER UP (7) finished off strongly in a Saturday race on debut, coming from midfield to be 2.8L off the winner. She carried no weight there but gets Fiore on board today replacing the apprentice hoop. Out to 1200m looks a big tick and she can make her presence felt again. SIPPA SPRITZ (6) is building nicely with racing, missing by 2.9L at Northam when out to 1100m last start, with that form tying in through Pucker Up. Getting onto a firmer deck now may suit and with further improvement on the cards, she can be right in the finish. SUPER GOD (4) looks primed for a bold showing on debut despite the wide draw. PROFIT MOTIVE (12) is drawn out but showed enough in her only trial. SUGGESTED PLAY: Marcos makes the most appeal.
