Not expecting them to go too hard.
Very plain affair by metro standards. ELLE HUDSON (1) came with a well-timed run from midfield on the corner to score over 2200m at Newcastle a fortnight ago. Has been in the money twice from three runs here. Should go right on with the job. MY GREEK GOD (7) closed well but was no match for Sablonneuse when they clashed over this distance at Kembla on Saturday. One-pacer who gets in beautifully after Grima's claim. Certainly up to winning a race like this. BELLINI SPRITZ (2) stepped up sharply in distance and couldn't get near Elle Hudson at Newcastle recently. Should benefit from that run and is worth each-way consideration. SPACETIME LEGEND (5) missed the frame for the first time in a while when fifth in the Elle Hudson race at Newcastle. Can bounce back. WAR RIBBON (4) hasn't won in ages but should be thereabouts back in a plain midweeker. Saturday's Kembla winner SABLONNEUSE (3) cannot be ruled out in an even contest. SUGGESTED PLAY: Elle Hudson on top.
