Plenty of pace from the outset with Kings Honour and Gold Flakes leading the charge. MAI ALOHA (11) won fresh and has been runner-up since, beaten less than a length in her past three. Back to the midweeks now is a good sign and a better draw here should help. Pike sticks and she looks the one to beat on her recent form. ALLENTOWN (6) went to Saturday company last start and disappointed after a good start for the new stable. Back to this level looks a bonus, as does a better draw this time. Can put his best foot forward. WICKED VENOM (5) resumed on a good note at Belmont, racing in Saturday company and finishing 2.3L off the winner when finishing well late in the race. Fitter for that effort and should get his chance off the inside yet again. Not to be discounted. ELITE BEAU (8) has been racing in stronger company after looking a progressive type early in his career. Had no luck last start and can get things back on track now. ETERNAL WINE (9) is a handy filly who can put her best foot forward as she reunites with Chris Parnham. SUGGESTED PLAY: Mai Aloha can go one better.
