Looking for Bright Thoughts, Brutal Reality and Jamestown to press forward and set a solid tempo. HANSAMU (9) steps up to a middle distance for the first time, and that is expected to see her form take a turn for the better. Michael McNab picking up the ride is another positive, and we have her on top of this modest field. VADASHA (4) resumes from a spell, and even though she has been trying to win a race for a long time, she will have the aid of the pole position, so include her in all top 4 combos. EFFIE GOODACRE (3) ran her best race yet when stepping up to this trip for the first time here last week. If this race has not come too soon for her, then she can figure in the top 3 again. BRIGHT THOUGHTS (2) will be backing up from a modest effort at Te Rapa last Saturday. He is bred to relish more ground, so we give him another chance. JAMESTOWN (1) did nothing off the front at Tauranga a month ago, but his fresh up effort for fourth at Te Rapa before that is the guide to use. Stick with him for all combos. SUGGESTED PLAY: Hansamu each way.
