SALTBURN (2) has been a touch disappointing on this surface in his last 3 starts, but this field is very weak, and by default, we have him on top. FRENCH FOX (7) makes her poly track debut, and you would hope that she can improve on some modest runs thus far. PLATINUM PATCH (1) has not lived up to his breeding as of yet, but he did finish third at Matamata in May. Stepping up to 1550m will help him, and he can figure in the top 4 here. SUPERSTAR PATCH (4) will be making his debut in a very suitable field on his home track. His stable is in form, and with the aid of a good draw, he has to be respected, especially if the money comes for him. DARE YOU (6) was beaten by a bad draw when making his track debut here nearly 3 weeks ago, and he is worth another chance from the pole position this time. SUGGESTED PLAY: Saltburn each way.
