Moderate pace only with Geku leading Shimme Rubus. SUN KALMIA (9) settled well back from a wide draw last time then wound up strongly to finish fourth over 1600m at Tokyo Dirt. Sure to prove tough to hold out. HO O SUNDAY (6) didn't make an impact at Kyoto at his last run before going for a spell on January 4. Expect him to play a major role in this easier contest. VICTURA (7) also didn't make an impact at his last run before going for a spell on April 2, finishing fourth and beaten 4.5 lengths over 1800m at Funabashi. Can make his presence felt. HOLLYWOOD BLUES (4) has not won for a long while. Last raced on June 7 when ninth at Hanshin Dirt over 1400m. No reason he too can't figure prominently in this more suitable assignment.
