Solid tempo with Savaii possessing enough dash to find the front. DOORALONG (2) is a decent chance to deliver a back-to-back double for the Matt Dale stable. He went close at Nowra on debut and then sat handy and spaced the Maidens at Moruya. Uses the rails gate and has been kept on the fresh side. Day stays aboard and the promising galloper can take the next step. SAVAII (6) is feared building on his maiden win at Goulburn on debut. Surprised the market but will be fitter again and Collett sticking with him is a positive. Has an awkward barrier, but is good enough to cope. MENZAH ONE (1) switched from a leading Victorian barn and looked a run short at Wagga first-up. Came off Stakes grade in Adelaide and his easy Maiden win at Kilmore before that reads well enough for this. AZZUCCA (10) ollowed a fifth at this track two runs ago with a win last start over 1400m at Wagga. In the mix. SUGGESTED PLAY: Leaning to Dooralong.
