The presence of the first starters could see Russian Blues and Sneaky Cyclone struggle to get their own way in front. RUSSIAN BLUES (6) showed good speed last start, and fought on well for second by a short-head over 970m at Cambridge on the poly track 16 days ago. She will be suited to 1100m, and can go one better. SNEAKY CYCLONE (3) had a couple of starts as a juvenile before being put aside to mature. His recent trial win suggests he has gone the right way, and he won't be in this grade for much longer. HASSTOROCK (9) had one run as a juvenile, finishing fifth over 1100m at Te Rapa in April. She will be stronger now and can make full use of her good draw early on. Include in all combinations. CONFECTIONIST (8) is a 3-year-old filly from Stephen Marsh's yard. She is ready to race after a recent trial win late last month at Cambridge. Watch the market moves for her. WOMAN IN CHARGE (7) caught the eye with a big finish for second on debut here just over 3 weeks ago. She will naturally improve from that run, and her first win is not far away. SUGGESTED PLAY: Russian Blues can take this out.
