Genuine pace with Forecaster finding the front but it won't be a picnic with a few other speedy types engaged. BLACKLIST (5) has been sent to the Mack Griffith stable since scoring a tough win over 2400m at Sandown on 3 September. Bolted in over 1400m earlier in the prep so while fresh this trip is not outside his wheelhouse. AUZSTAR (3) is back in trip after a distant second to the in-form Casino Bear over 1812m here last time. Gets some weight relief today and this distance is more to his liking. Right in the picture. HELLOVA NATURE (9) is going okay in Highways, most recently leading for home before tiring at the end of 1300m at Rosehill. On trial at this trip but if he relaxes in front he can run a cheeky race. FORECASTER (2) dropped out of contention when fresh from a two-month break in a 1400m Rosehill Highway nine days ago. Can improve sharply off that run. Last start Lismore winner INTOXEL (11) should be competitive again at just the fourth run of her campaign. SUGGESTED PLAY: Like Blacklist.
