Without a recognised leader, Helluva Soiree and Bravissima will likely set the pace. Competitive. BRAVISSIMA (8) resumes for the sharp Matt Dale yard and can win if presented on-song. Proven fresh and was last seen beaten a whisker over a mile in a 74 at Goulburn, bet into the red. Won a 65 here three back and will just need average luck from an awkward gate. CHAMPIONS LEAGUE (3) was narrowly beaten here first-up this grade out of the 12 gate, and there was a stack of merit in the effort. He's a second-up winner with more to give and keeps the handy 2kg claim. Go close. GENETIC FREAK (4) resumes and just beat the above home in that contest. The former Queenslander hasn't missed a beat, but it will require a good ride from the 2kg apprentice pushing forward from a wide barrier. SASS 'N' CHEEK (10) showed plenty early doors before the form fell away. Needed it against the above pair first up but has placed 2/3 second-up and we're likely to see some improvement. SUGGESTED PLAY: Bravissima appeals most.
