Trouvaille or Tukituki to take the lead and attempt to control the tempo. HEZA SHARP ONE (1) has not been too far away in all 3 starts this prep, and will be dropping in grade here. He caught the eye with a big finish at Te Rapa nearly 2 weeks ago, and will start from a superior draw this time. Craig Grylls will give him every chance early on, and he should go close to taking this out. JUST ONE (6) has not had much luck recently and is right down in class for this assignment. A form reversal is on the cards. CARIGNAN (10) has found it hard to win another race, and his recent form has been fair at Te Aroha on some heavy tracks. He has been placed in his only start on this track, and can figure in the top 4 with the right run in what is an even contest. TROUVAILLE (7) has been racing at Cambridge on the poly track there, and is seasoned enough to cope with a middle distance for the first time. Stick with him on an each-way basis. DELOREAN (12) did not handle leading last start, and is probably better ridden with cover. She is worth another chance here. SUGGESTED PLAY: Just One at some each-way value.
