Immortal Storm is expected to lead at a slick tempo. IMMORTAL STORM (9) led and gave a great sight only to be nailed by a couple close to home on debut last time out at Grafton. Draws in a lot closer today so should use less petrol early. Will be very hard to reel in. ZOUS APOLLO (11) was prominent from the outset and wasn't beaten far over this course and distance recently when facing the starter for the first time. Open to plenty of improvement. BONJOUR BILL (7) raced handy and held on well for second at Taree on his debut last start. Met a smart one that day - can play a big role with some natural improvement to come. KOOKY (4) is back from a 24-week spell. Opened last prep with a close second at Tuncurry after leading for home. Gets blinkers on for the first time today which may be significant. ANGELS CLOUD (1) should be peaking now and has been in the money at four of five appearances at Port Macquarie. SUGGESTED PLAY: Keen on Immortal Storm.
