From the wide draw Goldfields Grey can cross and set up a solid tempo. Even race where POWER OF TIME (3) looks hard to beat. Solid in three runs to date including two placings and looks ideally placed over the longer trip after a narrow loss here last time at 1250m. Drawn for a soft run and gets chance. FIABESCA (12) has had little luck with barrier draws lately and form is better than it looks. Went back to last from wide out last time and gave a huge start but made good late ground. Not the best draw again here but the extra trip may well suit and has the figures to feature. GOOCHEE GAL (5) has shown good dash last couple, the latest leading and finishing a close-up fourth when swamped late over a mile at Swan Hill. Should give a sight in this line-up. GOLDFIELDS GREY (1) has been runner-up at both starts to date and looks close to a maiden success. Narrow loss last time over 1350m and should be in the mix again. BOOLCUNDA DAWN (11) wasn't far away on debut over 1000m when finding it a bit sharp. Has good upside. SUGGESTED PLAY: Power Of Time gets his chance.
