Genuine tempo from Escarcha leading Three Helios. MAU LINO (2) was safely held in tougher company two runs back then appreciated the drop in grade last time and scored over 1400m at Mizusawa. Looks well placed to feature in the finish again. ESCARCHA (4) showed early speed from an outside draw and held a forward position before fading to finish fourth last start over 1600m at Mizusawa. Will go forward and is expected to be in the finish. THREE HELIOS (5) started at $5.80 last time and ran below expectations, finishing fifth at Mizusawa over 1600m. Expect a better run here. YAMANIN BILLOW (3) is close to a win after a sequence of strong results, the latest when second over 1600m at Mizusawa. Another top-three finish is on the cards.
