Moderate tempo with Devoted Poet leading the way. Tough. TOSEN IMPACT (7) improved at Horsham and then found more like his best, beaten a long neck at Ararat stepping up to this distance. Fully fit, and he can go one better. BEDOUIN VILLA (8) resumed in the same race, beaten a half length. Surprised the market, but there was plenty of merit in the performance. Stripping fitter, she should get every chance to go one better. ISOTROPIC (13) resumes with a 1L defeat at Horsham over 1400m. She's jumped out well and has been kept on the fresh side. An improver with claims. MANHATTAN MABS (14) resumes and Yendall's booking suggests she's pleasing. She won a recent Ararat jump-out and just missed this trip at Mortlake on debut. SUGGESTED PLAY: Going with Tosen Impact each way.
