TOSEN GEMINI (7) was leading on the turn and fought on to finish second over 1400m at this track at her latest appearance. Has a strong record here at this journey. Has the pace to settle in the leading division. Expected to be in the finish. KANA ALWAYS (2) turned in a fine effort to score by 6 lengths at today's course and distance last start in a much improved run. Must raise the bar but another win beckons. GONZAGO (10) returns from a spell of ten weeks. Was safely held at the only appearance last prep when 15th over 1800m at Nakayama Dirt. Worth plenty of thought. ENERGY POCO A POCO (1) turned in a decent effort last start to finish third over 1600m at Funabashi. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run.
