Moaksun may well find the front is a race devoid of early speed. ANIMAL (1) narrowly on top. He was given some solid market support on debut over this track and distance and ran a solid race for third in what looks a handy maiden. Like the fact he's had a jumpout between runs and with natural improvement he can take this out. YOLO (9) resumes. He debuted in the Geelong Diamond behind the smart Cherish Me and ran well, in the market there. His form tapered off at the end of the campaign but he should be greatly respected here. MOAKSUN (3) has run second in both starts this time in, notching up his fifth runner-up finish from nine starts. Should be right there again although others have a bit more upside. JUVIANCE (6) was just fair fresh over 1500m and drops sharply back in trip which is interesting. SUGGESTED PLAY: Animal to win.
