Pace looks strong with Montero pushing forward while Bax Factor kicks up on the inside. MONTERO (1) has been placed in his last three races and two of them came here. Better drawn this time so he is a win wager. BAX FACTOR (2) has drawn the inside gate today. Has not been too bad so far this time in and must be included everywhere. PURPLE PROSE (5) is a definite improver on her fresh-up run. Can pay a dividend here wide draw and all. MAGGIE MCMUFFIN (12) has been placed eight times in her career so far and four of them came here. The mare has been close up in two of last three runs here and is worth consideration. GRASSHOPPER (11) was poor at her last start but has been course placed here. Drawn poorly once more, but could improve. SUGGESTED PLAY: Montero is a win wager. Purple Prose has drawn wide but he is still a major chance.
