He endured a brutal run there when working without cover throughout on a strong tempo, sticking on bravely for third. He's won a hurdle trial since so fitness won't be an issue and Currie goes aboard from the inside gate. VAN GERWEN (7) was a dominant winner second up at Moe over 2050m, leading throughout to score by four lengths. Can strip fitter again and will be in this for a long way. LUNAR POWERED (6) is a lightly raced type who has shown plenty of staying promise, winning his maiden fresh before finding the line well behind INTHELAPOFTHEGODS (1) at Mornington. Tipping Lunar Powered has the upside to turn the tables on that galloper but both have claims. HOLLANDIA (2) next best. SUGGESTED PLAY: Tewkesbury to win.
