Started the last campaign in good style when in the placings over 2000m at Fukushima. Has switched to the Kenichi Shigeta yard. Looks a winning chance. MANACOR (9) is back after a break of six-and-a-half months. At the last run before the layoff he finished ninth over 1400m at this track. Hard to beat if back in good order as anticipated. KUMASAN ARIGATO (4) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 2.5 lengths when fourth over 1200m at Funabashi three-and-a-half weeks ago after being in contention on the turn. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. SAVE THE QUEEN (1) finished third last start over 1400m at this track, beaten 3.5 lengths. Solid each way chance.
