SATONO DOLCE (7) turned in a fine effort to win by 2 lengths at today's track and distance when resuming from a break last start. Must raise the bar but another big run is on the cards. MEISHO ONITE (4) turned in a fair effort at Himeji over 800m at his last run three-and-a-half months ago, finishing fourth and beaten one length. Looks a winning chance. SONIC (5) was prominent at the bend and finished second last start over 1400m at this track, beaten 4 lengths. Has raced five times here and has never missed the frame. Finds a tougher race but this looks well within his grasp. SOMETIME AGO (3) turned in a fine effort to score by one length at today's track and distance last time out to continue his outstanding recent form. Likely to be there at the finish again.
