Decent sized field but it lacks any obvious pace. ANGEL OF THE SEA (4) can be a quick improver second up. She's a lightly raced filly who was hard in the market first up at Geelong, unsuited settling back off a slow speed. Did enough late there and will be fitter, dropping in class for good measure. Drawn to likely go back again but should get much more pace on up front. THUNDER HAWK (6) resumed with a solid maiden win at Cranbourne, settling midfield and coming clear late. She's always promised a bit and may be able to roll forward from the barrier. LITTLEBIRDIE (12) can mix her form, even last time in a bunched finish at Cranbourne. On her best form she's a genuine chance. NOBLE LEGEND (1) resumes and has the ability to be figuring on an each-way basis. SUGGESTED PLAY: Angel Of The Sea to win.
