SOUTHERN PRINCE (4) over-raced in the early and middle stages and lost a plate in the run when a plugging fifth over 1400m at Randwick Kensington. Looking for the mile now and sure to be strong late. MAGENTA SHORES (6) recent efforts have been sound and comes here with a fitness edge over most of these. Surged across from the wide gate when a tough on pace third over 1600m at Goulburn.
