Twisted Queen should lead at a keen tempo. ALERO (1) has been kept fresh since a very smart first-up win at Caulfield Heath, sitting on speed and running his rivals into the ground, scoring by 2.25 lengths. Prior to that he'd beaten Ahha Ahha, who was a commanding winner at Sandown on Saturday in a good race. Finds another winnable race and rates highly. STAGE 'N' SCREEN (7) has been okay this time in without quite threatening. She was hard in the market in a stronger race last time and can be forgiven on a tough Moonee Valley track. Can bounce back. TWISTED QUEEN (9) won well on debut at Kyneton, showing early pace and coming clear. Can measure up. WARPARTY (4) won a decent 0-62 fresh at Mornington and it wouldn't shock if he was finding the line strongly. IMMORTAL STAR (2) has patchy form but would take beating at her best. SUGGESTED PLAY: Alero to win.
