SMILE THROUGH (3) is a talented jumper who closed last prep with a win in a maiden steeplechase (2910m) at this track. Resumed last start and again got the job done, scoring by 6 lengths in a steeplechase (3210m) at Nakayama. Progressive type who will give backers a great sight. OKINI (5) resumed with a respectable second in a 3210m Nakayama steeplechase seven weeks ago. New to stakes racing but should make his presence felt. RED BAROSSA (1) was most recently at the races three months ago. Only appeared once when last in work and scored in a steeplechase (2850m) at Niigata, getting home by 3 lengths. Genuine contender.
