Very keen early battle with Applications and Aiden matching motors and there are a few others that can keep them busy. ALDEENAARY (6) was a touch disappointing when resuming but then improved sharply to finish runner-up when stepping up in trip last time out. The extra furlong here looks to suit and Maloney sticks in the irons. Rates the testing material. NEW JOY (10) got the job done here at the latest effort and will have derived a stack of confidence from that victory. Big hope. The consistent CEREMONIOUS (9) has remarkably hit the top five in all 11 career starts to date and is always in the mix. Can trouble the judge again. OLD SONG (11) next in line.
