Strong early tempo assured with Dyce, William Robertson and Mrs Browning locking horns. DYCE (1) is a winner of his last two starts. He showed good speed over 1100m at the Vaal last time and won easier than the official margin suggests. The 6yo gelding is the class horse in this field and with Piere Strydom retaining the ride, he should complete the hat-trick. WILLIAM ROBERTSON (2) won a good race here over this trip last start. 2.5kgs claiming apprentice Trent Mayhew retains the ride and the combination merits healthy respect. MRS BROWNING (3) should have finished closer in the Grade 1 Mercury Sprint last time as she raced greenly throughout. She returns from a spell and is good enough to have a say in the finish here. A market watch is recommended. QUANTUM THEORY (4) finished 2 lengths behind the second pick in third place last time out. The pair meet on the same weight terms today and he is worth including in all combinations.
