Slick tempo with Voyage Samurai to lead but under plenty of pressure in a keen early contest. VOYAGE SAMURAI (3) continued the bright start to his career with a gutsy performance as favourite first-up over this course and distance. He's trialled since that effort and he draws a much better gate this time. Can find the front again today and will take plenty of catching with the added fitness on his side. TURIN STARSPANGLED (5) is building nicely this campaign, sticking on strongly over this track and trip last time out. He's trialled well since and Purton remains in the irons. He drops 1kg today and can continue to improve now third-up. Can get the job done. SILO (8) looks an improver today stepping out to the mile for the first time today. He was very good in a recent trial and he draws a much better gate today. Can be prominent in the run and won't be far away. STAR MAC (9) just missed when storming over the top last time out and can be in the finish once again.
