Ciudad Evita and Ignis Spiritus have good gate speed and should be able to cross and vie for early honours. CIUDAD EVITA (12) stepped out for her debut over 1600m at Niigata back on August 25 and finished sixth, beaten 6 lengths. Expected to do more that day so this time in work she can improve and will pay to follow up. THE ROSE HEARTS (16) missed the placings on debut then improved last start but found a couple better over 1400m at this track, beaten 5.5 lengths. Can take the next step and has strong prospects. RANA ROSA (1) has not raced since her debut back on June 15 when she finished fifth over 1200m at Hakodate. Plenty of scope for improvement. FIRE BOAT (15) was solid on debut last start when beaten 5.5 lengths into ninth over 1600m at Nakayama on September 28. Fitter and is one of the chances.
