Genuine tempo with the speedy Psammead leading the way. PURPLE KNIGHT (13) finished ninth when resuming two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 1600m at this track, beaten only 1.5 lengths after being in the firing line on the corner. Nicely placed to give this a mighty shake. MISS YOSHIZEN (8) resumes in a similar race to her last run four-and-a-half months ago when she scored by 3.5 lengths at this track. Developed nicely last prep and comes here with definite claims. BIG FLOWER (4) was out of the money when resuming two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1600m at Nakayama, beaten 3.5 lengths into seventh. Best figures measure up nicely. Worth another chance. A SHIN WHIP (1) has not raced since she finished fifth over 1600m at this track on June 9. Among the main hopes.
