Maiden Race 1600m Track: STANDARD |

Plenty of early pace to be established by Flash Time, Token Sour and Spade Guinea, with Rikea Darjeeling close at hand. SPADE GUINEA (7) was well fancied on debut last start and was not far off the mark, finishing third and beaten 5.5 lengths over 1800m at Nakayama. Likely improver who looks a major player. TOKEN SOUR (12) went to the lead from the low draw when fresh from a spell last time out and was still there on straightening, eventually finishing second over 1400m at this track. Expected to be in this for a long way. POD BEL (10) ran home well on debut last start to finish third over 1400m at this track after settling in the back third of the field. Will benefit from that experience so he is a strong chance. TWIN PEAKS (2) finished 13 lengths from the winner in seventh at her most recent appearance over 1600m at Nakayama after she got a long way back in the run. Finds the right race and is worth consideration.
