Slick tempo with Dun With Roses to lead but under plenty of pressure in a keen early contest. DUN WITH ROSES (3) showed some potential as a 3-year-old and his spell has been the making of this gelding as he has gone back-to-back to open his current season, albeit on the picnic circuit. He was too quickly at Dalby last week and even from a wide gate, he has enough speed to cross and take them all the way again. CRUMPETS (9) won his maiden 2 starts back at Ipswich before leading and running out of puff at the Sunshine Coast just over 2 weeks ago, finishing near the rear on a soft track. She prefers a firmer surface and can bounce straight back into the money here. ARIAT (8) is racing her way back into full fitness and her last couple of starts have had merit. She steps up in trip and is worth including in all combinations. SUPER QUICK (6) is a progressive gelding who has returned from his spell in good condition. He was runner-up here 3 weeks ago and will be at his peak now third up. A good draw and Justin P Stanley in the saddle all help him. Hard to beat. SUGGESTED PLAY: Super Quick each-way.
