Kigata Rei should have enough pace to lead a low-pressure contest. WIN TOLKIEN (1) struggled on the tougher circuit two back then last time appreciated the drop in grade when he bounced back and saluted at this track. Found winning form back at the right level last start and looks hard to beat. YOU'LL MAKE IT (9) missed the frame last start over 1400m at this track when fourth. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. KIGATA REI (6) turned in a nice effort to score two runs ago but couldn't follow that up last time out when seventh over 1300m here. Yet to miss the frame in two starts over this course and distance and is in the mix. ASTRAL POCKET (10) was below her best last time, finishing tenth over 1400m at this track. Solid top-three prospects.
