Anticipating a stack of early pressure over the sprint course with many of these at the races for the first time. CIRCUIT JOLLY (3) sat on the speed throughout on debut and just felt the pinch late, beaten 0.3L in a blanket finish. He was still green there and his recent trial was very nice. Big tick with Purton remaining in the saddle. Looks the one to beat now that he's fitter and more experienced. JUNEAU PRIDE (1) draws a better gate today after running on strongly from midfield last start when narrowly beaten. May be able to sit a little closer today from a better alley, though he does meet Circuit Jolly worse at the weights. Expected to be right in the finish again. PATCH OF STARS (8) creates plenty of interest with just how the key form finished last time out. He's on debut today, but has shown good signs at the trials and it wouldn't surprise to see him make a bold start. ETALON OR (5) stormed home late in the race to just miss last start and is sure to be closing off strongly once again.
