Pace a scorcher, headed by Chief White Sock, Arrogant Miss and Sweet As Scandi, closely followed by Calipari and Quanapirri Bay. QUANAPIRRI BAY (2) has been holding his form with his racing well-spaced for some time and has banked 2 wins this season already. 1100m is at the top of his range and his last win was his penultimate start here in the same class when he carried 58kg. He only carries a kilo more this time and will be among the hardest to beat again. ARROGANT MISS (3) is a durable veteran who has a strong record over this distance. She had a very tough trip last time out as favourite and kept on kicking bravely to finish second. She has a kinder draw this time and will also be spot-on with her fitness third up. Her next win is not far away. Follow your money. SWEET AS SCANDI (4) finished third fresh up at the start of the season and was found to be lame after the run.
