Reasonable tempo with a few going forward, headed by Ai Mi Hai Tea. KITASAN UNISON (10) was sent out favourite last time and scored by 1.3 lengths at this track. Has eight wins here. Tsubasa Sasagawa who has scored on him seven times retains the mount. Bold showing expected. MARUYO SOTA (3) proved too strong two runs ago at this track. Not as effective last time out when fifth over 1600m at this track, beaten 3.5 lengths. Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time. BAIARDO (9) finished second last time over 1600m at this track, beaten 1.3 lengths. Strong hope. JOLLY ROGER (5) resumes from a spell of ten weeks and is having his first outing under new trainer Masato Tanaka. Finished tenth at Niigata Dirt over 1800m at the opening run last time in work. Suited here.
